Description
You’ve just uncovered a rare piece of cinematic and electrical history. Stahlin Enclosures is proud to be the original manufacturer of the electrical enclosure featured in Back to the Future—yes, the very box that housed the legendary Flux Capacitor.
Engineered (fictionally) to handle 1.21 gigawatts of pure energy, this unit is powered by an onboard nuclear reactor fueled with plutonium—which, for legal and obvious reasons, is not supplied by Stahlin. Please contact your local plutonium supplier (good luck with that).
Application
Time travel (pending plutonium and lightning bolt availability)
1980s science experiments
Impressing your inner Doc Brown
Ideal for time travel across any timeline, weather event, or alternate universe
When the time machine hits 88 miles per hour (142 km/h), the flux capacitor begins to pulse with light—growing faster and brighter until it forms a continuous stream. That’s the moment the laws of physics bend, and time travel officially begins!
Features
Provides superior insulation for unstable quantum flux fields
Handles heavy gigawatt loads and lightning strikes
Impact resistant; Withstood multiple trips from 1985 to 1955 and back without a scratch
Clear cover for clearly viewing the temporal distortion arcs during operation
Fits snugly behind DeLorean seats or in your garage lab
Protects delicate circuits from paradox interference
UV resistant in case you get stranded in the Cretaceous period
The flux capacitor functions only when installed in a 1981–1983 DeLorean DMC-12 with a stainless steel body.
Compatible with Mr. Fusion home energy generator if clean energy alternative is desired
Runs off trash by extracting hydrogen atoms when plutonium is unavailable
